Eating Disorder

We are a family of thin, lanky people. We also do not eat much or we are not fond of indulging in food. Is eating disorder hereditary?

I don’t know much about eating disorders, but I think it’s a phsychological thing and not hereditary. One thing is for sure though. If you are going through eating disorders then either you are obese or eman*ted or for short * unhealthy. Just make sure you eat properly ok.

Are all your family remembers and relatives tall and lanky? If you answered in the affirmative, I think it has something to do more your genes that it being an eating disorder.

In my opinion, eating disorders are usually psychological in nature - a girl feeling fat or a man thinks he is not 'macho' enough.

Height and physical built is determined by heredity but an eating disorder may be a mental condition. If you want to increase your built, you can improve on your eating habits by gradually adding the amount of food you eat. You can also take vitamins and other supplements. Maybe you also need to consult with a doctor on this.
