Investment gone bad?
« on: September 04, 2013, 06:11:03 AM »
I was thinking about investing my savings into something, but I fear (like every new investor does) that I might make the wrong choice and lose it all? Has it ever happened to you? Does this kind of thing happen often?

It does happen, but mostly because the investor didn't do enough research. You should try small to get your feet wet and than move up. You could also try investing in your own business, if things go wrong you can sell what you bought and minimize your loses.

The riskier the investment, the bigger the potential payoff. If it is your life savings however you shouldn't take to wild of a risk since you don't want to end up with no money at all, at retirement age.
