Kayaking for Children
« on: November 16, 2013, 12:12:32 AM »
Can I take my kids on kayaking? What is the allowed age for children to try kayaking? I’d like them to try it while we’re still on vacation.

Children under ten years old can go Kayaking but with under adult supervision especially if there are not much currents there. They can be one of the rider who can try some paddling or just a simple observer. BTW, don't forget to make him wear some life vest.

You can actually take young kids on any water recreation or sport as long as they are accompanied by adults. But as a safety precaution, it would be better if children know how to swim or are equipped with life-saving devices. But at any cost, kayaking for children is just all right if you are strict with the implementation of safety laws.
