Cheers to many women today who are single parents and head of the household! You ladies create a definite financial responsibility and a need for protection from the loss of their salary in the home in the event of death. So life insurance for women is very critical regardless of career or marital status. Because life insurance for women usually has lower premiums than life insurance for men, so you should make an effort to fit a life insurance policy into your budget. Take note as well that it is smart to buy life insurance while you are young with a disability waiver rider which will ensure your premiums will be paid by the insurance company in the event you become disabled and unable to work.

So you're finding the right plan to invest upon, eh?  :)  I can share that for us women, we have a lot to choose from just like the male counterpart. You can choose a term life policy at a cheaper premium for a fixed amount of time, or you can select a permanent plan to last the duration of your life and provide you with additional financial planning. The type you choose and the amount you buy totally depends on your goals, needs, budget and family situation. If you are a young, single women then your life insurance needs will not be the same if you are married or raising a family, so your policy needs to reflect that.

I suggest the term life insurance plan would be a good idea. It's because you can get an affordable life insurance plan when you are young and healthy at a very reasonable cost, with the right to lock that rate for a long term policy which is very advantageous if you go on to be married or have children. (How great is that!) Imagine purchasing a level 30-year term life insurance plan while you are 25 years of age. You'll see that it will allow you to pay the same amount for thirty years. This same coverage will end when you are 55 and last through the years when your need will probably be at its peak. When I say greatest needs, I mean raising children, sending them to good schools, mortgage, spouse, etc. You can always supplement with more insurance, layering different terms to extending you well into retirement. (Retirement is another thing that you may want to consult your agent)

There's no other way to share it but in the real world, term life insurance is the cheapest type. It is also the most flexible as you will be able to renew when your needs and cir*stances change, while allowing you to pay a premium of your choice and capability within a certain period of time at your convenience.
