Marriage and Divorce
« on: November 12, 2013, 12:17:14 AM »
Don’t you think that people nowadays take marriage for granted and with no value what so ever? There was a time that couples even the most unhappy ones avoided getting a divorce because they re*se to break the promise of staying together no matter what. Now, marriages can last for only a few months. It’s disgusting.

Well, I think it really depends... When you go through a divorce you experience so much emotional, mental and financial pain. I don't know anyone who would be willing to undergo that kind of thing just because they have made a mistake.

Divorces are quite high because people marry quickly. They don't know what marriage entails and when do challenges and troubles settle in then they find it hard to work together as a couple.

Maybe we can say that some people take marriages for granted and divorce happens because most marriages have no solid foundation. Today most people marry quickly and they lack the time to really know each other. Besides, people are impatient and lack understanding of the complexity of married life.
