Is dental implants okay?
« on: October 31, 2013, 02:35:08 AM »
I have titanium plates to repair some facial fractures I got from my car accident a couple of years ago, do you think I can still be a candidate for dental implants if I had to?

I can’t see a reason why you shouldn’t be a candidate for dental implants. The titanium plates used to repair your facial fractures do not affect the dental implants. So there shouldn’t be a problem. I suggest you talk to your dentist about this. For now, just take care of your teeth so you won’t have to need implants for a very long time. Some old people I know, as old as 60, still have their permanent teeth and they look great.
