What are the modes of payment that I can use for a grocery home delivery service? Can I use a credit card for home delivery purchases?

There are a couple of ways that a home delivery can be paid. One of the most common is through C.O.D. or cash on delivery. However, there are also other acceptable modes of payment such as credit cards and via check payment. Better check with your home delivery service to confirm this.

If you are using a home delivery service, a common mode of payment is cash, but nowadays, other mode of payments such as major credit cards are also welcomed by other purchasers. Just make sure that it is from a major card issuing bank with a major credit card like VISA or MasterCard.

I don’t think that check payments are accepted anymore. It’s best that you stick with cash as it is a common mode of payment for delivery services. Just be ready for additional fees on top of your purchase to keep all your grounds covered. Other than that, you can just sit back and enjoy the perks of online grocery delivery.

I believe stores are more flexible nowadays. You can choose to pay via credit card, COD, debit card or even Paypal.

These stores make the shopping experience h*le-free especially that today's economy is not really taking off and they need every sale that they can get. Ask the grocery store which mode of payment are they offering and if you can pay via credit card.
