Like you I have the same skin problem. My face is oily, other than that they are all dry. I have tried every kind of lotion, local and international brand alike. Some of them work, some only for a while, and some don’t work at all. Dry skin remedies really depend on how your skin would respond to products. IF you have tried everything, it’s best to go to your dermatologist.

Dry skin is the most common skin problem adults have. Like you I have the same problem, I even have a bottle of my lotion in my bag in case I feel the dryness. If this still occurs I suggest you have to check with your dermatologist to know the real problem.

Maybe you have serious skin problem that you are not aware of so my highly urge you to have yourself checked by a dermatologist. He or she will tell you what to do, because as you said that you are reliant on moisturizer and lotion and still, nothing happens to improve the dehydration.

You may be suffering from a medical condition and you need to consult with a dermatologist to know what's best for your dry skin. If lotions and moisturizers don't work, it's something to worry about. Your skin problem is far from ordinary and I advised that you see a skin specialist to know the reasons.
