Hockey pucks
« on: October 18, 2013, 11:57:07 PM »
What are hockey pucks made of? I want to make my own puck but not for play, I just want to display it in my room.

It's often said that the hockey puck is named after the clever and naughty character, Puck, of William Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. :)

A hockey puck is made of vulcanized rubber. Pucks are frozen to limit their bounce when used for games. If your crafted puck is only for display, you can create larger or smaller pucks then. :)
