Pregnant women need all the nutrients they can get from food for themselves and their unborn babies. There is really no special diet for them but a balanced and nutritious food can help a lot in having a healthy mom and baby. A balance diet of fruits, vegetables, meat and carbohydrates is enough but won't make you fat.

My friend is pregnant and she is also under pregnancy diet simply because she has a high sugar level. In pregnancy you have to think of your child more than your weight. The baby needs nutrients just like you so don’t put yourself into a diet plan unless advised by your doctor. Save the diet plan after giving birth.
