CD Duplication - Church Choir
« on: September 12, 2013, 12:19:44 AM »
I have been recording our (30 strong) church choir. This has been one long and arduous task, taking up most of our Sunday afternoons. Last Sunday, hope*lly, was our last recording session. We are now getting ready to compile a Master CD initially for Duplication (approximately 200 copies) and subsequently for Replication (500 copies).

I have been trying to have an Audiophile quality recording. A single X-Y Rode NT4 mic with custom designed valve preamp was used. On some tracks we have achieved this both in terms of Choir performance and recording quality. We are planning to release this CD at our Carol Service soon because of time and financial constraints, we cannot contemplate sending the Master to JVC, Japan. Can anyone recommend a place in or around Melbourne that can offer high quality duplication service?

thanks

Hi….,
Althiough I'm not a fan of choirs these days(even though I was a choirister) Would still love to hear what you can achieve.
Sorry I'm no help with duplication.
