How do florists charge for service?
« on: October 16, 2013, 02:18:35 AM »
I am also planning a wedding to happen 4months from now. I want to get hold of the budget and breakdown of expenses first. How do florists charge for their service, a flat fee or per-item fee?

Some florists charge you in a package and they already have a template, budgeted for that. That is for events and if you’re in a rush. But if you want to make your own template, they charge by the stem. A stem usually has 2-3 flowers involved. If they charge per flower, you are probably getting tricked by the money extracting entrepreneur!! My friend owns a flower shop and I know the costs of these things. They should be able to give you low prices for events since you are purchasing in bulk.
