Whish is Worse?
« on: November 09, 2013, 12:24:39 AM »
Which do you think is the worse crime, a person selling weed in the slums, or a corporation that has a working medication for a serious disease that sells it for a very large and unaffordable price?

I honestly think those two are not anyway connected. What you are asking is a no-win scenario. Let me answer this way, a person dealing weed and other illegal substances in the slums is a criminal that destroys lives. He makes people addicted to illegal substance. When people become addicted, they turn to criminal acts. So a person selling weed does not only hurt himself but also the community as a whole.

A corporation's goal is to make profit. It would make no sense for them to make a drug that would be so expensive that nobody can buy it. Anyways, other pharmaceutical companies can also churn out the same drugs at a cheaper price.
