Before writing a fan fiction, you should have read first the whole story of the book that you want to write a fan fiction for; or the movies that you want to write for…Be inspired as to how the characters react to certain situations and how they live in their fantasy world…so, you can now use these characters in your own fan fiction!

You have to know the characters that to you wanted to write about…get inspiration from these characters. Reinvent the movies’ or books’ characters. You can also change the attitude of the characters…Like for a great antagonist, why not make him or her protagonist in your story? Or if the setting of the original story is based on the real world, why not make it a fantasy-based fan fiction?

To write a fan fiction story, one must start reflecting the TV programs or books or movies he has seen before, or anything he wants to write a fan fiction for, like about his favorite cartoon or a comic book he loves to read.

As you have drafted your characters out and prepared in your imagination your story’s settings, you can now go in-depth with your characters’ situations, *ture problems and emotions. Constantly check the characters’ point of view to not lose the essence of your story, though!
