Barbecue sauce can be added at any time to your foods. You can drench the ribs in the sauce, like a marinade, in the re*erator for the night, put the sauce on before you cook it or put the sauce on after the meat is typically cooked. Some BBQ sauce has a lot of sugar, which will burn if put on too early, and give you an odious burned, bitter flavor.

I make my own BBQ sauce I don't use Sugar I use Honey which works wonders on taste Is it better to do after it sits for a while on the BBQ Maybe better to let it sit in the sauce over It is a commonly held belief that you shouldn't add barbecue sauce to foods while cooking
