Hammer Handles
« on: November 04, 2013, 10:59:24 PM »
I realize that some hammers have fiber gl* handles. I was always used to using wooden handles. Which one is better?

I would think that rubber is still the best when it comes to hammer handles. Rubber does not chip off or break. It does not slide easily and the rubber absorbs most of the impact when you strike the hammer.

It may be quite expensive initially, but I think it is worth the price.

I have been relying on a hammer with a wooden handle since I learned how to use it. Wooden hammer handles has a lesser tendency to slide of your hands than hammers with fibergl* handles. It’s just my personal opinion. I know there are some people out there who would rather use a fibergl* handled hammer.
