« on: November 02, 2013, 09:30:42 PM »
I have a ceiling speakers but I want to buy another one. My sister told me that a 2-way speaker is better than the 3-way one. What is the difference between the two kinds of speaker?

A 2-way speaker's splits the frequency band into 2 ranges - b* frequencies go to the woofer, and treble frequencies go to the tweeter. While in a 3-way speaker system, the frequency band is separated into 3 ranges. The middle frequencies are directed to a third driver commonly denoted to as the midrange.
