Change the Color of My Rim
« on: November 01, 2013, 06:31:54 PM »
I bought a second-hand rim in one of those online auction sites. I like the rim style; however, I am having second-thoughts about its color. How can I change the color of the rim? Can I just use paint?

People usually have this rim problem. Yes, you can use paint for your rims but be sure to get those spray paints that can actually stick to the rims. There are some plaints that you won't be able to use for the rims so I suggest you visit your auto detailing shop and ask them if they have the said spray paints.

You can change the color of your rims. I would suggest that you have it powder-coated. Powder-coating is better than the traditional paints since powder-coats bond to the material much longer than the traditional paints. They are also more durable. It might be expensive initially, but, it lasts longer and produces better colors than traditional paints.
