Crime

This may sound morbid, but will real estate agents or landlords inform possible  tenants that a crime happened in an apartment up for rent?

I don't think that it's a selling point of the house... Except maybe if you are weirdly fascinated by those kinds of stuff, you can ask the real estate agent but for me, NO. FREAKIN'. WAY. MAN. It's not worth knowing that someone died in the room I am sleeping in.

I don't think so. Would you want to rent or buy a house that has criminal records? I guess that's scary and you may not be able to sleep the whole night in that house. So there, the landlords won't probably tell that to the tenants because if they do, they won’t get any tenants at all.

Just in case you are now decided to rent an apartment. How would you know if it's haunted or not?

Nobody can tell but maybe you could check the history of the apartment first before renting it. I'm sure they have records if you really wanted to know its history. Because based on my experience, the best way to tell what type of entity you have is the way it the apartment behaves. You would know by the first glance.

I don't think so. If I were the landlord, I wouldn't be that stupid to tell the tenants about the history of any crimes in my apartment. That would really scare them and they might just back out in an instant. So it's better to keep it a secret as necessary.
