Cosmetological surgery is experiencing a peak in the past decade or two. Which countries first practiced this type of surgery in the 21st century?

Based on my research, it was first started in India by 800 BC. Some British physicians traveled to India just to see surgery being performed by native methods. Aside from that, some ancient Egyptians and Romans also performed plastic cosmetic surgery in the first century.

I guess it's true. The history of cosmetology is a long one, dating back in ancient times and it probably began with the first human being to become self-conscious. However, This cosmetology surgery field has no exact creation date or country of origin. From Ancient Egypt to Ancient China, cosmetics, the means of their creation and the people who worked with them have been found all around the world.

I've also read that the history of cosmetology had another golden age during the 18th century. The cosmetology often sees constant fluctuation between the “natural look” and highly adorned effects depending on the mood of the times.
