Internation *nding for children
« on: October 29, 2013, 10:45:32 PM »
We are trying to identify international corporations which are giving away corporate grants for children's cause. Do these easily get approved?

I could maybe help you come up with some big names like Microsoft under the Bill Gates or Melinda Gates foundations. Another is Mcdonald’s under the Mcdonald’s foundation. These are some companies giving away Corporate Grants. Charity for children easily get approved because of the nature of the cause.

Hi! It actually depends on two things:

1. The capacity of the *nding agency and
2. Your capacity as an institution

*nding agencies consider a lot of things like your experiences in handling projects, yourprevious financial management and it even checks your staff capacity. So it’s not that easy. You should have complete financial statements and all the legal papers.

Yup, that’s absolutely right. My organization applied to The Nando Peretti Foundation (you can search that on the net) for children’s program like policy advocacy and health program. The approval of your grant request usually takes six to eight months depending on the policy of the agency.

Wow, that is absolutely great! I’m building a charity group with my friends too! I think the educational background of your officers and staff will also be considerd. If you are child oriented charity, you should have a social worker, a child therapist and a pediatrician.
