Presenting To Seniors
« on: November 26, 2013, 04:53:42 AM »
I have done a few talks but mostly with colleagues or professionals within the same industry. Recently, a school invited me to give a talk. How should I slant my talk and presentation so these seniors will understand what I am saying?

You can use humor as your take-off point. You can use your own senior year experiences as materials for your presentation and for anecdotal breaks. The beauty about public speaking is you get to reach the emotions of other people. You communicate your point to them, and there are times you get to move a hand*l of people. Public speaking opportunities do cover a wide range. Your chance to talk to senior students is a great experience you should treasure.
