Hypothyroidism is the one that makes your thyroid hormone. The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland in the front of your neck. It makes hormones that control the way your body uses energy. There are times that the treatment for hyperthyroidism actually is to kill the thyroid gland and its *nction and will leave you hypothyroid.
