There are a lot of drinks that promise to help us to lose weight; are these drinks effective compared to dietary supplements?

Some of these are effective but it's only for a couple of days. I'm on a protein shake diet and all I can say is that, it's pretty tough. There is not much scientific research to prove that meagerly drinking protein shakes can help you lose weight. This is especially true if your weight loss strategy is based solely on using protein shakes as a meal replacement. I use this strategy by replacing one or two of my meals with a protein shake.

I think this kind of diet is really unhealthy. It may be a sudden weight loss for your body but think about the side effects of this drinks you are taking. It's really better to just work out and have a balanced diet. Don't eat after 5pm, it really works.
