I guess Hollywood's limelight is as bright as the one Bollywood. You see, Bollywood actors like Anil Kapoor, Bipasha and Irfan Khan have managed to get pivotal roles in a several mainstream Hollywood movies. If you can still remember the boy named Jamal whose debut Slumdog Millionaire made Bollywood highly-acclaimed and award-winning. From being Jamal, Anil Kapoor has landed a role in the next Mission Impossible film, while Irrfan Khan, who worked with Angelina Jolie in A Mighty Heart, has bagged roles in both the next Spiderman film and Ang Lee’s forthcoming Life of Pi. But in Hollywood entertainment industry, it's not a man's world. Even one of Bollywood’s most po*r leading ladies, the beauti*l Bipasha Basu bagged a role in Academy Award winning director Roland Joffe’s next film, Singularity.Add to that several films that Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Mallika Sherawat and Frieda Pinto have worked in not too long ago.

Additionally, there’s Amitabh Bachchan is set to do what his predecessor and idol Dilip Kumar re*sed to do nearly half a century ago when he turned down David Lean's offer for a role in Lawrence of Arabia. If Bachchan doesn’t ring a bell for you, he is making his belated international debut in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby, in which he plays the infamous gambler Meyer Wolfsheim, a part that bears little resemblance to the stereotypical roles offered to a clutch of actors of Indian origin over the years. Well, 3Idiotslead actor Aamir Khan has also got a few scripts from the big producers in Hollywood so brace yourself as these Indian talents pave the way to bigger stardom from Bollywood to Hollywood.

Aishwarya Rai is one of the actresses that made it to Hollywood. She was born in Mangalore, India. She started acting at the age of twenty four in 1997 and has made many Bollywood films. She already crossed over to American cinema a few times as well due to her po*rity.

I agree with you 777anesia. Aishwarya Rai is a two-time winner of the Filmfare Best Actress Award, and has been nominated for Filmfare Awards eleven times. She has won numerous times at the International Indian Film Academy Awards, Star Screen Awards, Zee Cine Awards, and many more.
