What are the rules and parameters when parti*ting in an online auction? Will I be at a disadvantage considering that I've never joined a live or an online auction?

If you want to join an online auction make sure that you really know what you’re getting yourself into. There are a lot of factors that you have to check before joining it, like is the website legit? How can the payment be settled? And are you ready to risk money for this? You also have to consider the shipping of the item.

First and foremost, before parti*ting or joining any auction, you must know first the product you are bidding for. You need to know how much the actual price is, the value and the authenticity so you will not go over the limit or place bid beyond the real price.
