Small apartment for my family?
« on: November 24, 2013, 06:40:09 PM »
What is the smallest apartment that you think my wife and I can live in when we are having a baby? Is it only required to have 1 bedroom for us?

If money is tight, a one-bedroom apartment is an option you should take for now. It's practical, too, and you get to spend time with the baby at night. At this day and age, it's normal for a family to sacrifice certain comforts in order to budget money for a month. One's personal budget changes when one has a family. Don't worry about space first. Worry about earning extra income so that in the *ture, you and you family can move to a larger space.

I agree. If you really have a tight budget, one bedroom is enough and that includes the baby especially now that you and your wife will be the one to take care of the infant. However, please be remind that as the child grows older, you may need to save your money to look for a more spacious apartment.

Would you consider living in a small apartment because you are in a tight budget but then you have 3 kids?
