Choosing the Right Locations
« on: November 23, 2013, 09:21:43 PM »
How can I choose the right locations for my ads? Is a more profitable location really that much more expensive than on a non-established one?

Choosing the right locations will depend on the ad people themselves. There are companies who have media planners that are responsible for putting up where, when and how the advertisements should be put out. These media planners  will use advertising strategies in order to determine the right spot for making the advertisement pop out and shine against all the other ads.

There are certain advertising techniques that are being followed, but the most common of which is about po*tion density. Looking at places like Times Square gives you an idea because with a place that is crowded most of the time, it will be only foolish not to put up an ad at this part of the city in New York. The same applies for other major cities and towns around the world.

Location based advertising is an essential tool that even with the absence of a media planner can be done easily and effectively. Talk directly to the person who owns the ad space and know about the facts of how the ad can be seen and how many people it can reach. The same can be said about other media outlets. After which, decide on which ad spaces would you get the best exposure for the least amount of money.
