Communism

Why did communism fail? Karl Marx wrote that communism will help in equalizing the wealth for all people.

I think there are two main factors why Communism failed: economics and human nature. Communism did not recognize the processes and implications of a free economy. It controlled the economy and dictated what people wanted and needed. This grossly affected the free flow between supply and demand thereby affecting gross revenues and causing economic crisis. The other is human nature. It failed to address the inherent differences among people in terms of how they regard their goals and their roles. Communism forced everything unequal to be equal.

That's correct. I also share the same idea that communism failed because of the two factors. But as an ideology, it supports the ideal principle that the there must be an equal distribution of wealth. It also recognizes the role of workers in production of wealth. As this is a utopia principle, it failed in application because people who wield power in a communist state became abusive.

You’re right. Communism is a utopian dream and it’s good only in principle and as a political theory. In practice, this ideology is really difficult to apply because of the human factor. Based on this ideology, there must be an equal distribution of wealth and workers, who have a major role in production, must lead society. But all this failed in practice because the leaders of communism became abusive of their powers.
