I haven't encountered any news about celebrities eloping in a mosque. I only heard of celebrities eloping and getting married in Las Vegas with Britney Spears and Kevin Federline headlining this aspect. Mosques are considered secret places, and people who elope go to such places to seek blessing and ceremony. The reality here is that in Muslim and Hindu-oriented countries, violence and murder can erupt whenever Muslims and Hindus elope and secretly get married. There have been news about shootings being done by elder Hindu or Muslim members to teach the eloped ones a lesson.
