Water based ink
« on: November 17, 2013, 02:54:33 AM »
My friend told me that he and his brother mix water to the ink on their printer. Is this advisable? Will it not ruin the cartridge?

My cousin is also using this kind of set up. She's using Epson and I don't see any problem in using dyes in a printer designed for pigments. I can see a problem in using pigments in a print head designed for dyes and so what if they are water based? They actually save a lot of inks. The only problem I see is that, it's not producing any good print at all.
