This is an easy one. Turn both your iPhone and laptop Bluetooth on and then establish a connection using the laptop. Once the connection is established and you've synced your phone, you can start sending files from your iPhone to your laptop. You know what's easier, though? Register into iCloud or install iTunes into your laptop and plug your phone into your computer. There's an option there to back your phone up. Click that and your iPhone files will be backed up into your laptop.

Hi, I'm sorry but I have to disagree with the first comment. I have been using IPhone 4s for about a year now and I'm also an IPhone user ever since it comes out. The phones simply cannot connect to any device. As a short message to you Apple, I'm an excellent customer, but this lack of connectivity - I blame solely on upgrading to your new IOS programming- is terrible. :(
