Some of Vermont's major industries are maple syrup, dairy farming, tourism, electronics, and speciality forest products. As added information, Vermont is the leading producer of maple syrup in United States because it has an ideal climate for growing sugar maple trees and it has also an ideal climate for good sap flow.

Vermont is the leading producer of maple syrup in the United States. Lumbering was also the first major industry established in the State. There are also a lot of farmers in the state and that is their first means of living. They are also well known for its stone quarries, and the quality of their products.
