Folate and Emotional Stress

Lately, I have been feeling a considerable amount of stress. Handling it wasn't good either. My doctor only recommended me a Folic Acid or Folate supplement. I don't understand why?

Folic acid is part of the Vitamin B family. It is said to stabilize one's mood and reduce the sense of panic and the feeling of anxiety. One natural food that is rich in folate or folic acid is asparagus. You can also consume other vegetables and fruits to help in your wellness drive. Try to take up a hobby or perform exercises to distract you and to help calm yourself down.
