Oatmeal
« on: November 10, 2013, 09:52:06 PM »
Apart from milk and sugar, what can I use to flavor my oatmeal? I find that oatmeal as brunch is a great energy booster.

I also like eating oatmeal! I find it as a great energy booster and weight-loss food. They say that oatmeal is also good for the heart.

Aside from the traditional milk and sugar, you can add flavor to your oatmeal by adding fruits such as strawberry, raisins and bananas, which I always do. You can also try adding low-fat chocolate.

Oatmeal during mornings and evenings is my favorite food staple, too, and is part of my healthy things to eat. I usually put honey in my bowl of oatmeal. This may sound weird, but sometimes, I add corn flakes for that extra crunch. On other days, I add dried fruits such as prunes and raisins. I also add wedges of orange and slivers of ripe mangoes.
