Biggest Edible Fish

What do you think is the biggest edible fish in the world? Are whale sharks serves as a delicacy in other countries?

Well, nothing beats the size of whale sharks still. The largest fish species and biggest edible fish is the whale shark, which grows to more than 50 feet in length and may weigh several tons. If you're asking if whale sharks are edible or legally edible, well, yeah. In most Asian countries, shark's fin is a common exotic dish and while shark meat is very rare and expensive, there are still some of the fanciest restaurants in the world serve this meat in several exciting seafood dishes.

I know that the Taiwanese people serve whale sharks in their island. I think other countries eat them too. They call it to* sharks, I do not know why maybe it has something to do with the texture of their meat. Since the whale shark is the biggest fish in the world and that the Taiwanese people serve them as food then I guess that answers your question.
