Search / Looking for Job
« on: November 10, 2013, 10:45:10 PM »
I am a crane operator and I find it hard to search for jobs in most online sites. Where can I find employment or what sites should I go to?

Resumes / Online Resume Submission

Is it right to provide only a soft copy of one's resume when applying for a job? Or do you have to print a copy and bring it with you during the job interview?

Legal Considerations / Re: Neighbor's house

That’s right. You need to get the advice of a lawyer who is knowledgeable with those issues. But you have to remember that your complaint must be supported by evidence so that you have a better chance at recovering your claim. It would be useless if your allegations will not be supported by facts and evidence; otherwise nothing will come out of it.

Discipline / Re: Fixing her bedding
« on: November 10, 2013, 10:34:15 PM »
First, you have to teach and train your kid how to fix her bed. When this becomes a habit, you will no longer have to do this every day and you don’t have to remind her about it every morning. That’s how we learn things when we were young – by habit. In time, she will learn all these things and she’ll develop the discipline of putting things in order and maintaining cleanliness in her room as well.

Construction Careers / Re: Job offer

It’s not an easy question. But you can tell the employer exactly what you feel. Giving a sincere answer may help you express what you really feel. Maybe you can tell them that you’re looking for a better job. What you should avoid is saying bad things about your previous employer as this may create a bad impression on you as a backbiting employee. Just stick to the question and your answer to it.

Bachelorette / Re: Who should I invite?
« on: November 10, 2013, 10:29:33 PM »
Maybe it would be better to limit your invitation to close friends and relatives. Other people who are not close or familiar to you may be alienated if you include them in your party. A bachelorette party is supposed to be a party for close friends and you won’t enjoy it if some people you don’t know would be included. Besides, it’s your prerogative to choose your visitors and I guess that’s how it works.

Management / Re: receipts
« on: November 10, 2013, 10:28:05 PM »
Yes. That’s right. The receipts will help you keep track of the expenses and provide a way to check the expenses against the record on the sheets. This will be compared against the initial cash at hand so you’ll be able to know how much is left. Like you, I only know some basic accounting and I learned from my accountant wife.
