Top Artist Downloads / Re: 2011 artist
« on: November 25, 2013, 04:45:14 PM »
I’m only guessing here but I think the artists with the most downloaded music would be Katty Perry, Bruno Mars and another fellow whose name escapes me. I don’t know about the bands with the most downloaded music seems like everyone is into solo artists nowadays. I tell you what though, I miss the old bands.

Non-Fiction / Re: I am a non-fiction author

Sounds ok to me. But I also like Swmur’s idea. More and more people are going for ebooks than the one’s actually made of paper. I know someone who had a very frustrating time getting as book published so he just went online. What’s the book about anyway?

Pregnancy / Re: Does bed rest help?
« on: November 13, 2013, 10:42:28 PM »
If your doctor advices bed rest, then it is meant to help. Especially if you have a delicate pregnancy, you really have to follow your doctor’s advice. While on total bed rest, you can catch up on our reading. Read up on motherhood and parenting advice books so that even if you are resting, you are also preparing. If you’re not a first-time mother, then you can read other books, watch tv, listen to music. I’ve read that listening to cl*ical music can help make smart baby because the sound coming from different instruments stimulates you baby’s brain.

Surfing and Wakeboarding / Re: Wakeboards vs. Surfboards
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:37:34 PM »
I don’t know which one is safer, all I know is that they are different in design because each are designed to meet the specific needs of two different water sports. Both sports involve great risks so I’m guessing both kinds of boards are designed and made to be safe. Some wakesurfers have used old surfboards but say that it just doesn’t cut it. Wakeboards are designed for optimum result when treading on boat wake.

Snowboarding Equipment / Re: "Shoe" part of the snowboard
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:33:42 PM »
Yes, you can. But I’m not sure which part you’re referring to. If you’re referring to the footgear you wear for snowboarding, they’re called snowboard boots and you can buy them separately. If you’re referring to the gear attached to the board where you put your feet in, it’s called snowboard binding and you can also buy that separately. You can buy them in any sporting goods store. You can also check out this link http://www.bargainboards.co.uk/B/Flow-%28284%29.aspx. I’m sure you’ll find something there.

Games / Re: Games
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:29:43 PM »
I’m not exactly familiar with the rules of games where tarot cards are used instead of the regular deck, but what I know is that it basically is the same as other card games where every card has corresponding points, and the fool is either similar to the role of the joker or it could also have the highest value in the deck. It really depends on what game you’re playing. I’ve heard of the French Tarot, but I’ve never pla* it. Try looking that one up to get information on the rules of the game.

Ice Skating Equipment / Re: Just the blades
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:20:59 PM »
You can get blades from almost any sports or sporting goods store. If they don’t have it, they sometimes would allow you to order through them. But if your blades are still okay and just dull, you don’t need to have them replaced. You can just have them sharpened. Try your local skating rinks if they offer that service. If not, I’m sure they can tell where you can have that done.

Keyboards / Typing vs Writing
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:11:21 PM »
I realized that it is easier for me to type with a keyboard than to write with a pen. Maybe I just got used to it more. Am I the only one or are there others who have experience the same thing?

Christianity / Fake Christians
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:08:04 PM »
I have met some people who call themselves Christians and act all humble and God fearing while in church but show something else entirely when you get to know them more. They are the most hypocritical people I have ever met. What do you think is their problem?

The History of Religion / first civilization
« on: November 13, 2013, 09:05:45 PM »
Do you know what the first civilization was? Did they already have religion back then? What gods did they worship and how did they worship them?
