Movie Sets / Period piece
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:37:18 PM »
Where do film production outfits usually shoot their movies for their period pieces such as war stories? Are these still studio-based or do they book actual locations?

Dishes, Bowls & Glassware / Improving shelves
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:34:19 PM »
My mom's kitchen needs some sprucing up. How can I improve the look of my mom's drab shelves that contain her bowls, gl*es, and dishware?

Other Arts & Crafts / Paper tole

Paper tole is painstaking yet the output makes the labor worthwhile. Which showcases the complexity of paper tole? A small frame or a large frame?

Comedy / Re: Trailer
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:24:13 PM »
For me, some trailers that undersold a movie are the ones for The Holiday and Love Actually. As they stand, these trailers were able to attract droves of moviegoers to support Love Actually and The Holiday. I'm sure there are other good movies out there that I should name, but their titles escape my memory. I actually would rather choose a sloppy trailer and the subsequent beauti*l movie than be wowed by the trailer and be disappointed by its film counterpart.

Best & Worst Dressed / Re: Mic*e Williams
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:19:54 PM »
She won the Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress for her role in the film, My Week with Marilyn.

I have to say that she's actually one of the best dressed female celebrities during the Golden Globe red carpet promenade. Her Jason Wu gown in navy and black complimented her skin tone. I think it was her headband and simple makeup that made her look charming and beguiling. When other female celebrities were channeling very regal looks or intensely made up looks, Mic*e Williams kept it laid back yet cl*y.

Other Celebrity Stars / Re: Paris Hilton
« on: November 20, 2013, 08:12:36 PM »
Paris Hilton is definitely a color*l character and is one of the more maligned celebrities in Hollywood. She's had her favorite phrase, "That's hot!" trademarked. She was featured in a sex video made when she was 19. This was a video considered to be one of Hollywood's celebrity scandals.

She attended Marywood-Palm Valley School when she was first year high school then transferred to Dwight School. During fourth year high school, she enrolled in Canterbury School in Connecticut but was let go due to several violations.

She starred in the movies House of Wax, Bottoms Up and in her own reality television show, The Simple Life.

Yahoo / Re: Old Yahoo interface
« on: November 20, 2013, 07:58:05 PM »
I am also using Yahoo's old interface. For two months, I was religiously re*sing Yahoo that would always ask me to choose the Beta version.

Note that your Yahoo email account does not have an internal prompt to allow you to revert to the old Yahoo interface. According to a forum, this trick may work. Here’s what you ought to do: Set your screen resolution to 800x600. Afterwards, visit Yahoo which will then be forced to give you a prompt due to your low screen resolution. Click the right button to help you revert to the old Yahoo interface. Adjust your screen resolution to its original setting.

Web Site Design / Re: How To Make It Into A Hobby
« on: November 20, 2013, 07:47:04 PM »
You can start by compiling the links of all your website designs and collecting them in one website that will serve as your professional site. You can start executing designs for colleagues' and friends' websites. You can also choose a niche where you are interested in like technology or educational sites and hone in on sites that you think need revamping. Email the site owners and provide them with generic yet attractive ideas on how you can improve their website. It would be great if you are also familiar with website programming. Ramp up your marketing and publicity skills for you to attract a solid client base, and make sure your website design pricing is competitive.
