I understand that it should like a flow chart when making a Family Tree. However, I am finding it hard when it comes to material space. Do you have any tips on how to make a success*l large family tree?

Charts and Forms / Scrap book vs Traditional Family tree
« on: November 06, 2013, 10:44:53 PM »
I can't decide whether to do my family tree in a scrap book method or the traditional family tree chart. It seems through scrap book will be easier when it comes to organizing. Do you agree?

After you already have acquired your family members and also have a lot of their essential record do*ents, you are likely to want to make a family tree. Consider organizing and drafting first on a piece of paper if you planning to make a family tree by hand. However, you need to be a good calligrapher too. Consider buying some family tree software or hiring some company service.

That is what main problem I have been dealing with for a long time when it comes to creating a traditional family tree. Making a family tree by hand is really too difficult. I always end up with either errors on the chart or lack of space. Please also share some tips in here.

That is a bit more complicated. Really. I have been trying to finish my family tree chart and I am always having problem with the spacing. I am now considering hiring some companies to do this since I already acquired the list of records to put there. I tried some software too but it did not work for me.
