Bankruptcy do*ents are considered to be public records because you owe it to a certain member of the public to have credit available to you. Thus, they should know whether you are unable to pay your credit by filing bankruptcy. This record can also be used as a factor in computing your credit score and can also be included in your credit report.

Since they have already mentioned what can be considered as public records, then you might want to know what are considered to be private. Well, records that are kept private are as private as you would want them to be. Since there is a great deal of information in a credit report and one piece of information can be a reference to another, it is best to keep your credit report confidential and private and out of the public eye at all times.

You can go to your credit report provider and ask them about this. Since VantageScore is an integrated credit scoring system that puts together the three other major credit scoring systems in the country, you can ask the respective credit scoring company of your choice about how you can integrate the credit score at your free annual report.

When you are settling your disputes online, you have to makes sure that you have a physical copy of the credit report in your hands. In the Experian credit report, you will find an Experian report number which you can use in order to report your dispute online. Use this as a reference to settle your disputes easily.
